Our Newcastle Water Treatment and Environmental services include site surveys, sampling, monitoring, remediation, training, and environmental management. NPE also helps with project design and management, including risk management, auditing, monitoring, and assessing environmental assets. We continuously improve our total water management processes by developing new methods and technologies for managing water tables.

Our Newcastle Branch are experts in bypass pumping and system solutions for the water and wastewater industry. Providing bypass systems that allow sewerage services to operate during rectification works is essential. NPE deliver a market-leading approach in
providing bypass system solutions.

NPE provides custom rental solutions for any project, regardless of size or scope. Our equipment includes self-priming contractor and dewatering pumps, standpipe pumps, flood pumps, and electric, silenced canopied trailer or skid-mounted pumps. We also offer a variety of submersible pumps, complete with silenced generators and control panels.

Our Beresfield Branch is home to a diverse team of nearly 40 dedicated professionals. This includes skilled Water Treatment Technicians who ensure the quality and safety of our water supply, Submersible Pump Specialists who are experts in the installation and maintenance of pumps submerged in various environments, and Mechanical Pump Fitters who focus on the assembly and repair of various pumping systems and plenty more! In 2023, NPE were engaged by Rockform Developments to provide a complete groundwater dewatering, water treatment & environmental monitoring solution to facilitate the construction of a 9-storey mixed use building overlaying a two-level basement car park. The water treatment system needed to successfully remove PFAS, hydrocarbons, high levels of iron, dissolved metals, and other co-contaminants from the groundwater to nondetectable/ultra-low levels to achieve compliance requirements with Port Stephen Council, WaterNSW and NSW-EPA before discharge.

Our client was engaged to upgrade the Newcastle West 1 Pump Station to meet the increasing wastewater management demand. The project involved complex engineering tasks, and NPE was responsible for isolating and bypassing three inlet lines that feed the inlet well at the station.
